Gurdwara Sahib Kontrilla, Gujjar khan, Rawalpindi, Pakistan..

Gurdwara Sahib Kontrilla was built in the 18s by bakshi ram.(as told by the citizens who are living here in the Gurdwara) Before partition it was the Gurdwara and after the partition it was used as local school and for now its a residential place a local family is living here..

Roof view from the ground floor. This Gurdwara have 2 roofs. 1 Roof is for to cover the rooms and for the lawn and the second roof is the main roof.

You will also see an air shaft while moving upwards to the 1st roof from the stairs.

This Gurdwara Connects to the haveli bakshi ram that was built in 1886. The locals told me that the women's of that time uses this tunnel to visit the Gurdwara for pray without being revealed their self's.
The gurdwara is in good condition for now the family living here is taking good care of this Gurdwara and they are trying to preserve it for the upcoming time.
